Placer Artists League Open Juried Show

We would like to invite all 2 and 3 dimensional artists to participate in our 2015 Placer Artists League Open Juried Show.  This show is open to all artists in the area.  We are proud to announce that Waif Mullins will be our juror. Crystal Hermitage Gardens Garden News

 Our 2015 Springtime at Ananda event weekends will be 

April 4 & 5; 11 & 12; and 18 & 19th From 10am – 5pm 

Weekday garden visitors are also welcome Monday, April 6 – Friday, April 24 From 10am – 5pm. 

(If bringing a group, please plan a weekday visit.) 

Admission is $5 per person (ages 12 and under free), or $10 for a season pass.

MARCH 28, 2015, TIME 10 AM to 2 PM with critique afterwards -- PAINT OUT.

If you love to paint plein air, join Lorna Sheveland at Negro Bar State Park in Folsom THIS Saturday, March 28th at 10:00 am.

The area has picnic tables, wonderful water views, towering cliffs, water birds, nice toilets and lots of parking (meet at the parking lot by the boat launch area). There will be fresh muffins waiting for you. We’ll paint till 2pm or so including a friendly and helpful critique. Clear weather predicted!

Dear Jana, The 2015 AAST CALL TO ARTISTS is now open with a simple form application, payment options and workshop to create or update your Artists Directory profile!    ALL VISUAL ARTISTS WITHIN ALL AREAS OF PLACER COUNTY ARE WELCOME TO APPLY! This year is the 22nd annual open studios tour which offers Placer County artists an exceptional forum in which to educate the public, as well as to display and sell work to art collectors, curators and patrons. AAST cultivates a greater public awareness of the artistic talent that exists in Placer County and offers the public the opportunity to observe artists working in their own environments. Held annually during the 2nd weekend in November, The Autumn Art Studios Tour is a self-guided driving tour of Placer County artists showing and demonstrating their art.
