The 2015 Prospectus is available online

We are now online and taking entries for the 43rd PSA Annual Exhibition: Enduring Brilliance! Submissions will be accepted online only. Please visit the home page of the PSA website:www.pastelsocietyofamerica.org

From there, scroll down and click on the lavender banner. You will find the 2015 prospectus. You will also be receiving your hard copy via snail mail.
In prior years, the PSA Board of Governors served as the Jury of Selection. Now three different Master Pastelists, with recognized talents and concentrations in different genres, as well as diverse geographical locations, serve as the Jury of Selection. This year’s selection jurors are Wende Caporale, PSA-MP (CT), Doug Dawson, PSA, PSA-MP Hall of Fame (CO) and Alan Flattmann, PSA-MP Hall of Fame (LA).

BLOOMTASTIC 2015 at Maple Rock Gardens

May 9, 9am to 3pm. $10.

A gift for mom this Mother’s Day weekend, a visit to a one of a kind garden for a day of events celebrating gardening. On May 9th Maple Rock Gardens will be open to the public for Bloomtastic, a Celebration of Gardening. A self-guided tour will take you through the various themed garden rooms at this private residence not open to the public and second to none. Local radio host, Fred Hoffman from KFBK/KSTE said Maple Rock is ‘The finest private garden in Northern California’.

Activities throughout the day will include self guided walking tours, Garden Railroad, Food & Drink and much more.

Adult tickets are $10 and kids 12 and under are free. Get your advance tickets here

Placer Artists League Open Juried Show

We would like to invite all 2 and 3 dimensional artists to participate in our 2015 Placer Artists League Open Juried Show. This show is open to all artists in the area. We are proud to announce that Waif Mullins will be our juror.
