Creative Arts League of Sacramento & Crocker Art Museum Presents Crocker Holiday Artisan Market 2015

The Sacramento Creative Arts League is delighted to partner again with the Crocker Art Museum in bringing attendees an opportunity to shop for distinctive, one-of-a kind, high-end modern gifts at the annual three day Crocker Holiday Artisan Market.

November 27 -- November 29, 2015

This one of a kind holiday market will be held in East Sacramento at the historic Scottish Rite Center.

Over 100 artists and their original works have been carefully juried into this special event to provide attendees with an exciting, varied and elegant shopping experience that is only presented in the Sacramento region. Vendors will be showcasing and selling functional pieces such as unique glass works, textiles, ceramics, paper, painting, sculptures, jewelry, fiber arts, metallurgy, woodworking and much more. Free parking will be available for all attendees as well as six rooms to shop from. This event is family friendly offering holiday festivities such as picture opportunities with a Victorian Santa, holiday music, food from Ambrosia Café, free gift-wrapping, and the opportunity to meet and engage with each designer and artist. Skip the crowded malls and mass-produced items this year and enter the world of creative design.

Please join us as attorney Steve Davis presents an overview of Copyright Law. Topics include: What is Copyright, International Copyright, How to Copyright your work, What does Copyright Protect, Pictorial, Graphic, and Sculptural works, Sound Recordings, What rights are secured for copyright owners, Co-ownership, Collective Work and much more.
Mr. Davis is partner at the law firm of Davis and Leonard. His practice encompasses copyright, trademarks, trade secrets, unfair competition, the Internet and e-commerce, and art law, as well as general business formation, finance, and operations. His practice is equally divided in these areas between transactional work, including advice, registration, and drafting contracts, and litigation. Steve has been an active lecturer on a variety of topics including intellectual property law, the Internet, and art law. Steve is a former president of the Intellectual Property Law Section of the Sacramento County Bar Association.
