PSA Goes to China
As president of PSA, Jimmy Wright was honored to be invited, independently, by two of the leading master pastelists in China, Master Li TieShu of Beijing and Master Hang MingShi of Suzhou, to visit them and their prestigious pastel societies. In October 2014, he combined the two visits into a 16-day epic adventure dividing his time between the two cities. A pictorial record of his journey is available for viewing on the PSA website at
http://pastelsocietyofamerica.org/pdf/PSA_Goes_to_China-as_of_1-21-2015.pdf
Other PSA members who joined Jimmy in Suzhou were fellow board member Richard McKinley, Alan Flattmann, Jason Chang, Gwenneth Barth, and Isabelle Lim.
